Essential Housing Program in Dallas
Banyan Flats is an active participant in the Essential Housing Program, offering affordable housing solutions to all tenants who qualify based on annualized household income limits. Before submitting an application, please review the application checklist below to ensure that you qualify for Essential Housing.
Do I Qualify?
To qualify for an apartment under the essential housing program (60% or 80% AMFI), total household income must be at least twice your monthly rent without exceeding the income limits of the chart outlined below. For example, if your household is one person, your gross annual income must be less than $46,320.00 to qualify for a 60% AMFI apartment.
Note: All presented incomes are based on GROSS annual income (income before taxes).
Income Verification
- Two months of consecutive current bank statements. ALL pages must be included and be one sided.
- Two months of consecutive paystubs.
Pre-Qualification Requirements
To complete the application process, you will be required to produce the following:
- Complete application for every household member 18 years of age and older
- Income Verification Items
- Additional documents that may be required depending on each person’s individual income and assets
- Two years of Resident or Rental Verification if applicable
